With the holidays upon us, we are taking a moment to be introspective about this past year. Here at lifeandwine.com, we are so incredibly thankful for the support we have received from family, friends, and our faithful followers. When we started, we didn’t know exactly where this venture would take us or how it would be received. Three months later, we know that we are at the tip of a massive iceberg. The world of wine is huge, but through our efforts, we hope to continue bringing the personal and intimate stories of this vast industry to the masses.
Our most recent dispatch chronicles the simple moments that make the holidays so special. Friends from around the industry joined us to share their thoughts about the ways in which food and wine enhance their holiday experiences. Listening to their stories about culinary delights, wines bursting with flavors, and the treasure of time spent in the embrace of loved ones, reminded us that we truly have so much joy in our lives.
This month’s journeys took us on trips to more rural locations such as Alexander Valley and Mendocino County, as well as places closer to home, such as Kenwood, Napa, and Saint Helena. Whether it was winery-crawling for charity with SantaCon in Yountville, interviewing wine entrepreneurs in Sonoma, or preparing our filming exploits for 2013, we did it all with great excitement and good cheer.
Sincere thanks to all of you out there for following us and giving us a reason to share the stories that accompany “life and wine.”
Strada and Michael
PS – Christmas Miracle No. 1: Jeff Werby, lifeandwine.com’s CTO and Chief Problem Solver! It’s all due to Jeff’s technical wizardry that we’re even able to make this video a reality. So HUGE props to El Jeffe. We couldn’t have done this without you. Respect.
Without further adieu, we present to you, Episode 4: The Holiday Episode!
